Savannah Savannah

All I ever write about is Savannah but she is my life! We went and saw her neurologist on Wednesday and found out that her MRI was completely normal, YAY! We were so happy to get this news but then the next question was well okay then what is the deal with her walking problems, so it is back to the drawing board. She is so smart though, thankfully we dont have to worry about her cognitively at all! She is start to speak in sentences and repeats EVERYTHING I say. Below are some examples and some recent photos.

Savannah Rae "Adorable"

Savannah has become such a talker lately and is speaking in sentences. She repeats everything I say and it is really cute. I told her she was adorable and she said "you're adorable", I said "no, you are adorable" and she said "no, you are adorable" and then said "Daddy adorable too". It was so cute! Below is a video of her and I telling eachother "you're adorable". Can you tell that I just love my daughter to death?!

Benjamin Nelson Wittwer Arrived

The Wittwer's welcomed a new son into the world today! Below is a pic of the little handsome man. He looks a lot like his brother Liam! We are glad that everything went well and that everyone is doing great!

The Waiting Game

My sister Brooke was due to have her #2 son on 10/18/09 and thus far the little man has decided not to make an appearance. I believe he is already taking after his mommy and making a fashionably late entrance hee hee. Hopefully he will decide to join the Wittwer family very soon. I know my sister is getting anxious and trying to have patience. We are keeping our fingers crossed that the baby comes soon and that everything goes smooth with the delivery!

Savannah's MRI

Savannah had an MRI today and we are so thankful that everything went well! We wont get the results back until next week. She continues to have problems with her walking so we are trying to get to the bottom of things!

You also might notice some new pictures on the blog. We took family photos, which really turned out to be a photo shoot for Savannah LOL. We had fun taking the pictures at the bio park, it was a gorgeous day and we decided we definitely need to go back and spend a full day there.

I am headed to Dallas this weekend for a girls getaway for my birthday, should be fun, I am looking forward to it. I am going with my very good friend Rachel who I have not seen in a long time!

Lots Going on

I havent posted in a while, I know! Lots has been going on. We had a visit from my sister Brooke and my nephew Liam last month, we went to the Clawson family reunion, Savannah is talking up a storm and showing Michael and I how smart she is......she is SO smart! We are working on potty training, it is a slow process but Savannah is loving the good girl stickers that she gets for brushing her teeth and going to the potty. She makes me smile, ALL the time, she is amazing. We were very sad that I had a miscarriage in July, but we are hopeful that we will be able to have a healthy pregnancy and baby our next time around, which will hopefully be soon. Michael went in on a houseboat with some other guys and are rebuilding it because it is a dump right now, but with some cash (ugh), some elbow grease and my feminine touch, hopefully it will be amazing. If you are wondering if my husband discussed this with me ahead of time, he didnt, which is no surprise because he never does :)

Bad Blogger

I have been really bad about blogging lately because I just put everything on facebook, but I realize not everyone uses facebook so I will do my best to keep the blog updated. We have been spending a lot of time at the lake lately (see photos below), our summer ritual. Savannah is saying a TON of words now, repeating everything I say. Her speech therapist has stopped keeping track of how many words she says now because there are so many, she is now keeping track of Savannah's phrases, which she is doing well with as well. We are truly blessed to have our sweet little girl. We are currently working on our next little one, YAY! I will keep you posted on when we are expecting, NOT YET, hopefully soon.
